About us
Founded in 2014 in Bremen, FIRST PRIVACY was established to provide comprehensive support to our internationally active clients, including corporations and business groups. Our consultants are well-versed in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its interpretation by courts and data protection authorities across Europe. Additionally, we advise on privacy laws beyond Europe, with clients spanning continents—from Brazil and China to Mexico and the United States.
Our team of 24 legal experts, representing 13 nationalities, speaks English and at least two other languages, allowing us to offer professional guidance on nearly all matters of international data protection. Besides our headquarters in Bremen, we have offices in Würzburg and Amsterdam (Netherlands).
At the DSN GROUP, we adhere to our principle of “Solutions with Balance,” working closely with clients to develop practical and compliant solutions. We focus on understanding your goals and help implement effective data protection strategies. We provide expert advice on country-specific data protection laws and compliance issues
Within the DSN GROUP, FIRST PRIVACY supports businesses across Europe and worldwide on matters of international data protection law. We serve as external Data Protection Officers and GDPR Article 27 representatives for over 50 multinational corporations. Our services include advising on software and hardware rollouts, customer targeting, and executing social media campaigns. We draft contracts with service providers, develop data retention policies, and assist pharmaceutical research teams by documenting and evaluating the processing of health data. A significant part of our work involves ensuring compliance with data protection requirements for the cross-border exchange of employee data.
We also act as neutral and independent ombudspersons, assisting clients with whistleblowing and compliance matters. Under the EU Whistleblowing Directive (EU 2019/1937), companies are required to provide secure channels for reporting legal violations. We manage these reporting channels for our clients, whether via phone, email, or online platforms.

Established in 2014, FIRST PRIVACY’s headquarters are located in Bremen’s Überseestadt district, offering a scenic view of the Weser River. A large team of international data protection lawyers operates from this central hub.
Würzburg
Since 2017, we have also been serving our international clients from southern Germany. The Würzburg office is centrally located in the EURO CENTER on Wörthstraße.
Amsterdam
In 2019, FIRST PRIVACY expanded to the Netherlands. From our office in the Sloterdijk district of Amsterdam, our team provides expert guidance to numerous international businesses.
